Name For Online Co.:custom Designer Draperies

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
Looking for a name (WHOSE DOMAIN IS NOT ALREADY TAKEN) for an online company who offers custom draperies, exclusive designer fabrics @ direct-from-the-workroom prices.

I like the 'Casa' word being included, but many are taken with .com

The target consumer would be one who is daring but conservative; someone who doesn't necessarily want to hire a designer, but wants the same look; style is sophisticated traditional; for the DIY who still wants a high-end look; wants to design their own custom draperies not limited to any width, any length.

Eventhough the product is attainable, affordable, we don't want the name to indicate cheap or low-end.

Love, Love, Love Casablanca (but every form of it is taken). Casablanca is home that is white, pure home, etc.

Names that are edgy, bold, roll off the tongue very well and evoke passion and emotion is what we're looking for.

Good luck - thanks.

To me, a non-expert in marketing but a consumer myself, Casablanca evokes emotions and an image and reputation as a classic and passion such as love and war, etc. ........ which is what I'm hoping to do. You're right - It has absolutely nothing to do with draperies. I'm trying to brand an image and a reputation, not an empty-feeling name that tells people what we do. If I happen to like the name, then that's even better. My company will eventually sell more designer products for the home. Casablanca means white house or pure house; I think it fits. But, that doesn't matter, because it's taken.

I can tell people what we do once I get their attention. I could use my personal name, for that matter; not that I want to. It has nothing to do with custom draperies. However, my slogan and messages and other marketing efforts will connect with what I do. Perfect examples of this are: Michael Kohr, Jimmy Choo, Johnson & Johnson.....I could go on and on.

In the past, I've named companies indicating what I did. I never liked them and later changed them.

Maybe I'm way off track with my branding preferences, but this is the direction I'm going and would love some name ideas.
