Brand Positioning In Hospitals

How the person who is working in the Marketing Department of Hospitals can help in increasing the awareness of brand in the mind of patients who are the ultimate customers,and even to increase brand image in the mind of those who are working inside the hospital and does the Brand is important or the quality is important?

    Arvind, this question really is out of my reach.

    HOWEVER...

    I'm a Houston resident, lucky to be in the city with a world-class medical center. I think the hospitals here do a great job of branding themselves.

    The ones I've been most impressed with are Methodist Hospital and M.D. Anderson. The latter has a fantastic campaign with the tagline, "Making cancer history."

    Perhaps you can contact their marketing executives and compare notes!
