In Need Of A Catchy Event Title For Our Charity Fundraising Event June 2011

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Diamond Blackfan Anemia (DBA) is a rare bone marrow failure disorder that affects children. My foundation has held our cocktail and silent auction in New York city early May of every year. This year we are pushing the event to June. The title we used to use was "Spring" into action for a DBA Cure. I feel like June is more "Summer" ... Can anyone suggest a catchy event title now that I can't use "Spring". Something that is "catchy" for summer... but still includes our mission of the event - to raise funds, for research, for a DBA Cure. New York is tough, we have to grab the attention of potential guests as soon as they pull the invite out of the envelope or see it online. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!

Thank you Randall! This is a Thursday evening cocktail after work hours 6:30 to 10:30... heavy heavy passed hors d’oeuvres for the first hour, stationed food later... with silent auction, raffle, live music, in NYC on the water. "Spring" into action for a DBA Cure was easy... early June when we've planned for our event this year is so hard to tag line. If it was mid-summer I totally would go with "Midsummer" nights dream... to cure DBA! But that won't work early June. I'll keep at it. Any other suggestions are welcome! Many thanks again!

Jay, thank you - I will try to incorporate a cure for DBA (Diamond Blackfan Anemia) into "Turning up the heat"...
    Maybe something like:
"Turning Up The Heat To Defeat"
Cocktail and Silent Auction to defeat DBA

    Karen, thank you!
Love Summer Soltice Social... except the event is confirmed for Thursday June 2nd... so not quite summer soltice unfortunately :(

Will keep at it today... many thanks again for your suggestions!
