Tagline For International Nonprofit

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello MarketingProfs Community!

We're an international nonprofit organization, active locally. In other words, we're not active abroad, but active in helping shape positive U.S. foreign relations right here, at home. We welcome International Visitors to our state for short-term professional and cultural exchanges. We also organize lecture series on key foreign policy and international business issues. Our members get to meet people from around the world, exchange best practices, and learn about and discuss timely global issues without leaving home.

Our challenge is to be viewed as a local "international" organization.

We're thinking of adopting the following tagline: "Local Engagement - Global Impact."

Any other thoughts?

Thanks!

    Hi MONMARK GROUP:

    Thank you for your questions!

The Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting mutual understanding and respect between the people of Utah and other nations. UCCD is guided by the principle of Citizen Diplomacy - the concept that the individual citizen has the right, even the responsibility, to help shape U.S. foreign relations "one handshake at at time."

UCCD is a private sector partner with the U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). Each year, UCCD welcomes over 450 emerging leaders from around the world to Utah for short-term professional and cultural exchanges. More than 326 IVLP alumni are current and former Chiefs of State and Heads of Government (= global impact).

UCCD is also the Utah chapter of the World Affairs Councils of America. Among other community programs, UCCD organizes a World Affairs Lecture Series that engages Utahns in key foreign policy and international business issues.

We are supported by scores of volunteer "Citizen Diplomats" who welcome International Visitors to their workplace and share opinions and gain insights into other viewpoints; host International Visitors to their home for dinner and conversation; and, participate in community programs to learn about timely global issues (= local engagement).

In sum, we forge international relations while raising global awareness.

    I hope this helps!

Thank you for your time and help!
