Single Mom Need Help Naming Her Cleaning Business

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
PLEASE HELP! Hi everyone My name is Amanda, I am a newly single mom trying to succeed on my own with a beautiful 18 month old daughter. This information is very relevant to my question..I am starting my own private cleaning service, (have been cleaning households for a few years with only a handful of clients, my goal is to get my business out there and increase my clientele so I can finish my degree in Business Marketing..funny I know..I need helP with a marketing aspect and that's what I have been studying for years..I think I'm just waaay over thinking this!) and I have pretty much everything planned out except my website and my name and a catchy slogan.

Some information about me is that I do have experience with this service, I am a single mom of a 18 month old busy body little girl who also keeps me very busy because she struggles with terrible allergies to pretty much everything..so my house has to be immaculate at ALL times (and by this I mean vacuuming, dusting, and sterilizing twice a day) and I'm proud to say my house does sparkle, and I make sure every household I clean I clean it as if my daughter lived there. I am a very bubblie, outgoing, friendly woman, I guess you could call me a people person! I am an extremely hard worker with my daughter as my drive, my goal is to be as successful as possible to give her the wonderful life she so deserves..anyways hope this little short story/biography helps!

I have come up with some name ideas, please feel free to comment(negative or positive it will all help) or add them to your suggestions. Please keep in mind I am a true believer in a catchy slogan..if you can't remember a name you always remember the slogan!

My Ideas
***NOTE: I WOULD LOOOOOVE TO HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH BEING A MOM IN MY NAME AND/OR SLOGAN***
*Neat Freak Cleaning
*Spick and Span
*Sparkling Situations

FWIW, I agree with Phil and Randall. Your personal situation is not relevant to your business positioning. If you want a real business, stick to the benefits for your customers, and don't try to play the card of your personal issues hoping that people will want to throw alms your way.

It's admirable that you're so determined to become a success on your own, and I wish you well ... but don't let your "life" get so wrapped up with your business that you do them both a disservice.
