We've Got A New Logo, How About The Strap Line?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We have just rebranded our logo and website. We are UK based chartered accountants (=CPA) working with charities and other voluntary organisations. We want a strapline which reflects the benefit we give to our customers, the charities.

We thought of 'expert charity accountants to advise your charity'.

Can any of you come up with something better - something more exciting to the charity sector, reflecting the ultimate benefit (and their biggest desire) that they could get from an expert and specialist charity accountant?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for such speedy responses. We thought we should point out that charitable organisations use the word "charity" in the UK - we know that it's not popular in the US! The word "charity" here has only positive connotations.

We need to know (a) the name of the firm, and (b) what unique and distinctive benefit your client organizations would get if/when they hire you. You mention the "ultimate benefit," but you don't really tell us what that might be.

Why you and not some other accounting firm? Is there something special about chartered accountants who serve charities that makes them a better choice than a general accountant?

What specific geography is your sweet spot, or are you expecting to serve all of UK?

How do your prospective clients make the decision on which accountant to hire? What are the most critical criteria in their minds? What words do THEY use to describe the ideal accountant for their needs?

Thank you both for your responses.

Our firm is Jackson and Jackson.

    Our website is www.jacksonandjackson.co.uk

The director has a Diploma in Charity Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. This means he has specialist knowledge of the accounting regulations specific to charities, understanding of charity funding, charity tax etc. By experience he is familiar with situations/problems which are common to charities and is able to give ad hoc advice, or direct them to a source of help.

We are based in London, and our charity clients are in London, too.

Although a small firm, we do not compete on price, and so the clients that hire us are not looking for a cheap fee. They like the free advice (on any matter – even non financial) they get from our telephone helpline. They like us because we are reliable with deadlines, and fast, and get their completed accounts back to them within 45 days. They like our specialist knowledge. They like the way we suggest improvements to their systems, so they can be more efficient. They like the way we agree the price of the work before we do it.

Why not simply "The Charity Accountant Experts" or "The UK Charity Accountant Experts"?
