We are opening a new pet/grooming shop and are looking for a name. We specialize in terriers but also groom ALL breeds! Thanks for your help!

How about creating a NAME contest with the local press and social media (Facebook, Twitter), perhaps in cooperation with a local breeder? Show an image of your business, perhaps featuring a cute terrier puppy. The first prize winner gets a terrier delivered with fanfare at the grand opening!

The contest could be in two stages. Stage one is for name generation. Stage two is to select a winning name. Who decides the winner? The participants (future customers) vote for the name they like best.

This path takes a lot of work, but could generate some opening "buzz" for you.

How about something like:

Pawz (or a another spelled version)

Paws and Claws (or Paws 'n' Claws)

Barking Mad

The Dog Tales (pun for dog tails)

The Claw Cuts

or something similar on these lines, relating to pets in general, but focusing on dog features, such as claws, bark, tails, paws, etc.
