Tagline For Live Audio Site

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I have a web site that targets people working in the church audio arena - sound tech's. My site has been around for 3-4 years at behindthemixer dot com. I'm doing a full overhaul on my site (new design and new logo) and reviewing my branding. I've never had a good tagline. This is where i need the help.

My target audience for my site articles is church sound tech's of all experience but primarily novices and weekend warriors. I'm working on products that are directed at people new to that line of work. (and those who want to learn how to improve their knowledge of the foundational information.

The taglines that I've considered are;
The front lines of church audio
Sound Audio Teaching (play on words)

I tend to like the second one but I'm not sold on it. I need help picking the right tagline that captures the essence of my visitors! Any ideas?

[ps: I used to be active here long long ago but it's been so long, my account is gone. oh where does the time go?]

(Aside: your current website doesn't clearly state your church sound specialty other than your title tag. Hopefully in your overhaul, you'll make it much clearer who you're targeting.)

    The Church of Good Audio
    Praise For Great (Church) Audio

I like the second one, too - as I often tend to play with words, especially when it might make people stop and think one more time.

How does these sounds to you:
    Learning the bells
    Volume learning
    everyday church audio
    Any Audio Adjustments - AAA
    Church Audio

Jay, the tagline will be very dominate in the header on the new site. It's funny how easy it is to assume that people know what a site is about when you are the one writing it.

Mikael, maybe a spin on one of your ideas...
    "Not Your Everyday Church Audio."

I'll see what others say. Very encouraging!

I want to note this as the more I think about it, the more important it seems. I get emails from people saying phrases to the effect of...
you have the ability to teach technical concepts in a way that's easy to understand.

Not sure if I should roll that into a tagline.
