I saw a similar posting and thought I would give it a shot since everyone here is so creative! Our company is hosting our 8th Annual Bash for our member companies (mostly tech/software companies) we are going with BBQ, something kind of casual and fun. Last year since it was the The 7th Annual event the theme was lucky #7.

I cannot think of anything associated with the #8, but we are planning to have BBQ and keep it casual. We are also having an oyster roast at the event.

We need a clever play on words for the name & tagline of the event. It can be humorous etc. Some keywords thate come to mind for our organization are Digital, entrepreneur, business, technology, etc.

It's meant to be a fun, enjoyable event.

Would love some clever, creative input.

    When it comes to fun, centering on the number eight may not be your most direct shot.

    How about ...

    Invasion of the Technoysters
    [Company] members take over the beach for BBQ and Oyster Roast

    Beach Party, BBQ and Oyster Roast on August XX

    Play on words with the number 8, first things that come off the top of my head:

    Who 8 My BBQ? (like who moved my cheese)

    We came, We 8, We Roasted

    Come and 8 with us! (have a country style theme)

    I like the mystery 8 ball idea as well
