Event/production Based Business Needing A Tagline/name.

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
My business partner and I are going into a joint business and we need a tagline for our event based company.

We are an event company that does just about everything in the Christian realm of events, but we don't want our name/tagline to limit us to just those types of events. We are potentially going with EventOne as our name. (still name ideas are up for grabs as well..)

We would love a tag line of sorts to go with that...We need help! Any suggestions?

Who and where is your primary target audience? What makes you different from, and better than, your competition? Why should someone hire you? What are you trying to communicate with the tagline?

The objective shouldn't be to have broad appeal. Rather it should be to be very specific and narrow, so you can be highly relevant to your primary target audience. When you try to be too broad, you lose the focus that will make your positioning (and your tagline) compelling for the folks you really want.

Please don't take this the wrong way: I don't understand what you mean when you say you do events "in the Christian realm."

Does it mean you only do events held in churches? Or connected with Christian rites and traditions? Or that you only accept assignments from self-identified Christians?

I get that you probably don't do Bar Mitzvah or Kwanzaa parties, but beyond that what makes an event "in the Christian realm?"

I guess I didn't describe that in the right way. We specialize in bringing National and Independent Christian music artists to the local communities and finding ways to make this affordable. Whether that is in churches or arenas doesn't make a difference.

In our businesses separately we have both run events including weddings, private parties, and secular concerts. We are in the process of combing our business so that together we can provide these types of events under one name. Does that clarify that at all? Thanks for the help in advance.
