Brand Naming And Tagline For Internal Newsletter

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hi There,

Just need some help with ideas or suggestions for a potential title/name for our proposed eNewsletter that will be distributed to all Branches on a regular basis.

The name should reflect the newsletter's purpose of keeping branch staff informed and facilitating two-way communication between national organisation and the branches but also link into what the national program teams do in terms of education and support.

Hope that helps, I am stumped!

It would help if we knew more about your target audience, what makes them tick, what they want to hear/learn, etc. We don't even know the name of your company/organization or what industry you're in.

    Hi,

Sorry, the organisation is pharmacy education, resources and materials are developed nationally (by us) and distributed to our customer; the local branch staff and branch directors for them to roll out these program locally. The idea of the newsletter is to build and develop the bridge of communication between us so that we are informing and updating the local branch monthly on new developments, issues, news etc... of these projects.

I would adopt a name that can be used as a URL, because that can be used for a website. So pharmacy should be in the title. That will help you search for a title that isn't already in use: e.g. Pharmacy Now, Pharmacy Today, Pharmacy Together, Pharmacy Contact, Pharmacy Team etc. Try a name competition because that will bring your target audience into the project - I have seen that work really well. But try to steer entries away from clever (silly) names that don't reflect the market you are aiming for. You can do this by putting the current top runners in your competition.

    Hope that helps,

    Hi,

I little disagree with Peter when it comes to keep a name which contains pharmacy. I don;t see there is a need of keeping pharmacy. yes this will have little - very little relevance, but the target audience is internal not external.

I agree with peter in involving audience in the name game. This has worked in my case as well.

I would suggest keeping some thing like - connect.

Name definitely bring the connect between the branches and head office and which will become a platform for two way communications, which helps in accomplishing main objective.

    Hope this will help
