Need A Name For An Esthetician Business

Posted by dfisher576 on 125 Points
I'm looking for a name that separates me from the other estheticians. I have a BS in Clinical Nutrition (don't think many others have this).

I only use non-toxic ingredients (other people are starting to do this now)

I use sugaring hair removal only because wax is petroleum based and toxic.

Other differentiating facts: I don't advocate frequent chemical peels and microdermabrasion because they compromise the integrity of the skin barrier. Others don't care. They sell it because it brings in money.

I make my own serums for wrinkle removal daily. They're made special for each client and must be refrigerated because there are no preservatives or fillers. Only natural botanicals and oils and cutting edge active ingredients.

I have successfully treated acne and rosacea using light therapy and don't go the traditional route.

I understand nutritional deficiencies, health conditions, nutrient-drug interactions, and refer clients to specialists when they come in for removing hyperpigmentation (brownish spots that are often mistaken for simple sun damage) before I remove.

Hope that helps! Thanks so much.

Thanks for your reply! I like Skin Deep but I found it''s being used for a database of safe/unsafe cosmetic ingredients. :(

I think I've come up with one. What do you think?

    Picture-Perfect-Skin
It's the only skin you'll ever get. Treat it well.

    picture-perfect-skin.com is available, as is
    picture-perfectskin.com

    which one?

    Thanks!

The problem you'll face is with PicturePerfectSkin.com - a website that's "under construction" and may be a source of confusion for your prospective clients.

Darn! I thought I was done. ;) Hmm... good point about the confusion. The urls I'm coming up with are so long they barely fit on the business card layout! lol

My male cllents aren't into 'beauty.' They want their hair removed, pores cleaned and wrinkles removed. Younger guys want their pimples gone. Women are the same. It's not a girly-girl kind of place.

Have you another suggestion? Thanks sooo much.

I appreciate your suggestions. You raised a good point and I''ll wait to see the website that''s under construction In the meantime I''ll keep my thinking cap on...
