Help! Need A New Business Name

I am starting to expand my dental practice to multiple offices and want to create a new practice name to put them all under. The practices are comprehensive general and aesthetic dentistry and they are located in the Birmingham metro area in Alabama.

    You definitely want the location in your name so it's clear you're local and identify with your [prospective] patients. You also want the core business definition in there ("Dentists" or "Dentistry").

    And, as Randall suggests, you may want to keep the "old" names for awhile so it doesn't look like you're the new guy/gal in town. Use the new name as an umbrella name at first, then phase the old names out over the course of 12-24 months, as current patients get used to the new name.

    Of course, if the new offices are truly new, then you don't need "old" names on those. (Not clear if you're acquiring other practices or opening all-new offices.)
