Need Fun Name For New Jewelry Line

Posted by lfitzy41 on 250 Points
I have a website called Chicusout.com but have recently been making fused glass jewelry, wire wrapped rings with custom beads. Looking to market ages 13 to 50. My jewelry is all one of a kind, edgy and some a little funky. All my products are eco friendy. Can someone please help me come up with a catchy name. A lot of my work has to do with the ocean, shells. I live in a artsey area in SW Florida. Can anyone come up with a cool, catchy name and maybe a tag line? Thank you very much

You should probably start by narrowing your focus and not trying to reach such a broad target audience. There are probably 3-4 billion people in your target, and you won't be able to reach them all without spending a fortune. But that's OK because you couldn't supply them all anyway.

Try picking a very narrow niche -- age-wise, location-wise, fashion-wise and with similar (and well-defined) psychographics. Do a great job with that narrow segment, and then decide if you want to expand.

Your name should be something that is relevant to your target audience, not to your "artsey [sic] area" unless your target audience all lives in that area.

How do people find your website? What is the marketing plan for creating awareness? Maybe that will give us some guidance in coming up with name candidates.

Every 'eco friendly' project makes me more of a cynic; sorry, but how are your wire & beads made???

Your Dichroic glass is very stunning visually but your website menu choices on the right side need to be clearer and bigger.

Now; one word names seem to be the play these days in movies etc so go that route..

Any name can work ...be different ....a Greek word meaning "character" that is used to describe the guiding beliefs or ideals that characterize a community, nation, or ideology could work for lovers of unique hand crafted items.

    ETHOS

    Good luck.

What's wrong with your existing name "Chic Us Out"? Your name shouldn't focus on wire/beads unless that's the entire future of your business. Likewise your name doesn't want to focus on SW Florida unless: you're targeting people in SW Florida or the name is well-known outside of SW Florida (and can work to your advantage).

    Some names to consider:

    Fuzed (Jewelry)
    Slumped & Cast (Jewelry)
    Quenched (Jewelry)
    Fused With Love (Jewelry)
