Tagline Ideas Needed For High School Arts Program

Looking for collective ideas around a tagline for a public school system's after school and weekend arts program providing artistic and college readiness skills. This program offers students the opportunity to perform in various music ensembles and visual art exhibitions.

    You could promo the new program by having a schools/ community contest to name the program. Not only will you get a great name but the kids will have ownership of and pride about the program.

    In the contest, highlight what you do - art and readiness. I'm sure your staff teachers could come up with a creative embedded lesson or two around naming the program. (Reading and writing and presentation skills? A video submission for artists? A poster?). Be sure to have multiple ways to enter so all kinds of kids can use their skills.

    Involve the stakeholders...get local businesses/ art places to sponsor a contestant, or have voting at their location. Have them give a prize - maybe a few hours of shadowing the business person (show why education is valuable and fun!)

    So many possibilities!
