Naming My Business

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
My partner and I are starting a financial planning company. We need a name.

We don't want to use our first or last names, we want something that is fresh, aka not one of the old same ol names.

We target business owners, engineers, high net worth clients and do financial planning basics all the way up to estate planning issues. We are both Certified Financial Planners (CFPs) and both have master's degrees in financial planning. We live in Colorado and have clients in Colorado of course and Wyoming mainly, but have some scattered all over the country.

Any help would be fantastic.

    In To Thin Air ...kidding.

Do you want the name to have a regional feel to it?

Do you want it to reflect your personalities? If so, what common interests do you both have?

When you say "same ol names," what does that mean to you?

    Cheers,
    Jim

I would like to thank Jay Hamilton and mgoodman for their thoughts on my question concerning naming my business. I used both of your ideas and combined advice and decided to not worry so much about the name of my business and concentrate more on the product. Thanks for your input...
