Topic: Taglines/Names

Tagline For New Business.

Posted by Anonymous on 75 Points
I am starting a sports-specific child development program that goes to Day-cares, schools and community centers and teach the kids ball handling skills as well as life skills. This program is designed to encourage the development of age appropriate gross motor skills, fine motor skills and also perceptual motor skills.
Wee Ball is the name of the company, but I need the perfect tagline to complete the name.
What I have currently is;
-Developing Life Skills Through Sports
-Building Blocks For The Future

Please offer some interesting, catchy and related taglines.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the response, I appreciate the input, but I was hoping for more contributions in creating a memorable and exciting tagline.

Please if there are any other ideas and thoughts for an up-and-coming child development program.

I need a tagline so I can complete my logo and send to print for shirts and orders.
    Thanks again!

What is it you're looking for that you can't find in your two candidates and the one Jay has suggested? What are you trying to communicate and to whom? Where?

One of the problems with this question is that it isn't clear how you'll evaluate our suggestions. If we don't know the criteria, how can we decide what direction to take? How are you going to pick a winner? "Interesting" and "catchy" are very subjective. What one person finds interesting might be boring to another person. Same with "catchy."

The one candidate I'd discard is "Building Blocks for the Future." It's too generic and doesn't relate in an obvious way to what you do or who your target audience is.

Suggestion: Think through what it is you want the tagline to communicate and define that clearly for us. That's a better approach than "Show me how creative you can be."

I am trying to target children between the ages of 2-6 and I want to help develop their gross motor skills, perceptual and fine motor skills. These skills are essential to life and will assist with their academics as well. The program is geared to build confidence, sportsmanship, leadership, confidence, and independence along with so much more.

Having a tagline that incorporates these or the title would be great.

I hope this is better information to go off of.
