What does "secrets" mean? Why did you select that name? I'm asking because the name cries out for an explanation in the tagline, and I can't figure out what "secrets" has to do with candles.

Who is your primary target audience? Where?

"Shedding light on your inner thoughts" is about as close as I can come ... but it's a real stretch. Best might be to get rid of "secrets," if it's not too late.

Are you making the candles? If so consider, "Candles of Egypt" if you're trying to export them or appeal to tourists. If you're too clever with the name of your company, people won't immediately understand what you're trying to sell (or to who). What will make your candles better/different from others selling candles in your area?

Jay's "Candles of Egypt" sounds interesting. To take that concept further maybe "Candles of D'Nile"

When you describe your target audience as "... the public in general, girls & ladies & moms mainly," it's not very helpful to us in coming up with name/tagline suggestions. There are several BILLION people who meet that definition, and there's no way you can reach all of them.

Maybe you mean "female tourists who visit Alexandria." That's a lot more manageable. Or perhaps "women 25-54 who live within 10 miles of [a location in] Alexandria."

And it would be helpful if we knew what else characterizes your target audience and distinguishes it from those who are not in the target audience. What other kinds of products do they buy? For what kinds of occasions do they buy candles? How frequently? For own use, or as gifts? Where? Etc.

    Hi Neveen
    How about
    -"antique light for today"
    -"yesterday´s light for tonight"
    -"Alexandrian light for your home".

Remember that candles are usually cheap AND heavy; post and packing will substantially decrease your margin and make your candles expensive. So, your customers are in Egypt, so I think you need to target the egyptian tastes and habits.

And when deciding the name of a company, it is a good idea to have one of the main keywords in it. This will help you get better rankings in search engines.

    Good luck

    Thanks Alerto...

I actually thought of having the world Candle(s) as the first word of a two words name for the shop so as to appear in the results of any search engine.

    I am thinking of:

    "Candle Corner",
    "Sweet Candle",
    "Candle Choice",
    "Candle Mania",
    "Simply...Candles!",
    "Candle Dreamers",
    "Candle Core"
    "My Candle"
    "Candles Forever"

    What do u think???
A competitor's shop name is "Happy Candle"...tagline: a story behind each candle...

and concerning the tag line, i'm thinking of e.g.: "Candle Corner" tagline: Light up your days.../Keep the wick burning/ A light in your life
