Need A Name For A Startup Artisan Cheese Company

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I have an existing dairy farm called Sand Hill Dairy. I am starting an artisan cheese company as an offshoot of it. My main product at the onset will be hispanic style cheeses. I need a name that will target this market/culture first but can also relate to a non hispanic market in the future if successful. I would like to find a name that is flexible for both markets.
Should I keep the farm name? Completely different name? One name and logo but different color pattern for hispanic cheese vs u.s. cheeses?

Why not "Sand Hill Cheese" or "Sand Hill Artisan Cheese"?
You can make a Hispanic cheese product line, which you can give you room to grow in the future. Or, if you insist on Hispanic in your name, add the word Hispanic: "Sand Hill Hispanic Cheese" or even "Colina de Arena Queso" (Sand Hill Cheese in Spanish).

    Hi ialves
"Sand Hill Farm" can be your main name. From it you can sell your delights as "Sand Hill Farm Cheese", or butter, or whatever you decide to market.

Jay, "Sand Hill Artisans Cheese" is a good suggestion. Skip your Spanish version, as it does not sound tasty at all (literally translated back to English, it would be "Cheese from the Sand Hill". It makes me think that there may be some sand inside the cheeses...

    Best luck,
