Fundraising Event Name To Help Kids With Cancer

The Charlotte Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association is holding its first annual gala this year to help raise money for THON, Penn State's Dance Marathon. THON is the largest student run philanthropy, and last year raised over $9 million dollars for the Four Diamonds Fund.

We'd like to include something Charlotte/Carolina related as well as something that ties it to THON. Other galas by different alumni chapters have names such as: Hope Gala, Liberty Ball, Diamonds over Georgia...

For inspiration, check out thon.org. Charlotte is known as the Queen City.

    It could be buying flowers and the proceeds go to cancer research and the kids could receive the flowers with stuffed animals.
