Slogan For Outpatient Mental Health Company

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I have a private practice called A Peace of Mind Counseling Services, PLLC. I provide outpatient therapy to children, adolescents and adults. I need help with developing a better slogan. Right now I have "Building a Path towards a Peace of Mind" but I want/need something different because it really doesn't do it for me. You can view my website www.apomcounseling.com to give you a better idea of where I am going with my practice.

Your current slogan effectively repeats the same thought/words as the one in your name, so it's mostly redundant.

The real question is what you're trying to accomplish with a slogan. If there's nothing more you want to communicate (beyond what's in your name), then you really don't need a slogan at all. Ask yourself (and then share the answer with us) what you want the slogan to do for you? What's the purpose?

Usually people want a slogan because there is something important they want to communicate that the name doesn't. It's really for customers/clients, not for you. (It isn't supposed to "do it for [you].")

We're good at coming up with slogans, and we can help you. But first we have to understand what it is you expect the slogan to do for you. Can you help us with that?

What I would like is a slogan that summarizes my mission statement in a few words. My mission statement is "We believe that one does not attain a peace of mind by ignoring problems, but by resolving them. We are committed to assisting individuals with identifying and addressing troubling issues while encouraging personal growth and fulfillment of goals so that they may achieve a peace of mind." I want to be able to summarize this idea in a few words - the slogan- so that when others hear it they automatically think of my company. Hopefully this is a little clearer of what I am looking for. Thank you for your assistance.
