Require Name Suggestions-metal Casting Industry

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi,

I am planning to set up a Metal casting industry that deals in manufacturing and exporting all sorts of Metal Alloy Castings with expertise in engineering works.

I require a name and a Tag line suggestion (if required) catering to the following needs:-

1) The company would deal with all sorts of metal castings and we would be manufacturing the same.
-- I feel words like Metal, Casting/Cast and Alloy seems to be necessary in the name so that on reading the name the clients get an idea of what the company is dealing into.
2) We would also be dealing in exporting the manufactured products to various clients/businesses.
-- So I feel words like Exports/company/industry or manufacturers could be included.
3) We would be dealing in mainly engineered items like industrial fittings/machine fittings etc.
-- So I feel words like Engineering works/Engineers etc could also be included.

Please suggest a suitable name for my company and an appropriate tag line as well if at all it seems necessary.

As you'll (probably) be doing mostly business-to-business work, why not just go with "Company name: superior casting and fabrication for domestic and export engineering industries."

No flash. No fluff. Just a statement of productive intent.

    Hey Gary

Thanks so much for a prompt reply. As I understand from your reply, it looks like the line - "No flash. No fluff. Just a statement of productive intent" could be used as a tag line. This looks to be a decent punch line according to me.

    Regarding the name, -
Superior casting and fabrication (for Domestic Markets) Superior export engineering industries (for exports)

Can u suggest me something else instead of the word superior. some word which reflects more about what kind of work company is doing.

words like iron, aluminium, alloys, metal, etc. so on reading only one can know that company deals with all types of casting of majority of the engineering products using all sorts of necessary metals............

    NO!

Your tag line could be your company name, followed by "superior casting and fabrication for domestic and export engineering industries."

I'm saying that you ought to avoid flash and hype and just go with a statement that tells people what you do and what they'll get.

How about simply, "Engineered Metal Casting Solutions"?

    Hi Gary,

Got you now and thanks for clarifying the same.

However, to be honest I found this tag line too lengthy. I was just wondering wouldn't this tag line be too long?

Also it would be great if you could suggest me some name and post that maybe we can decide if really a tag line is required or not. I believe we should go for a tag line only if the name of the company is not serving the purpose of letting the audiences know of what we are dealing with.

    Thanks and Regards
