Bridal Show Booth Ideas Help!!

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hey everyone,
We run a ballroom that hosts weddings, were trying to come up with an effective way to decorate our booth that we have rented. Last year we brought in a large flat screen TV that looped pictures of our ballroom. We also tied tulip bulbs to a small flier with our information on it with a theme that said "Plant a Memory at (Our Business Name)" we wanted something that stuck out in the brides bag. If you have any ideas to help a Reception Hall sell it self without being at our reception hall please let us know.
Thanks

It would be helpful to know the size and configuration of the booth. In any event, while reading your question, the first thing that came to my mind was some really great candid, almost photojournalistic, shots of actual weddings you hosted at your venue. Have them enlarged, say 48"x48", placing one in the center of the booth and the other two on either side ( you might consider making the center image slightly larger than the other two for more impact). If your booth doesn't have walls you can buy full length display stands and have the images mounted.

Contact photographers who've shot weddings at your venue and see if they can give you some shots in exchange for advertising ( they may even want to share in the cost of the booth).

An alternative to three images.would be two on either side with your an enlarged image of your logo in the center.

Create a mock placesetting with the "works"...dinner and charger plates, stemware, a floral centerpiece, even chairs with chair covers! If you don't have them readily available, check out a few places that rent them out in your area. They might even shoulder some of the cost of the booth since, they'll be, in effect, exhibiting merchandise.

The goal is to give visitors a real feel for your exhibit hall and make them want to see it in person...

I agree that photos of actual weddings can give prospective clients a feel for what their event would be like in your ballroom. You would ideally like to offer scenes from a variety of themed weddings so that couples can see the flexibility your area has to offer.

For people who can't attend, consider a thumb drive with wedding music and a VERY brief monologue about how you can best service couples on their special day. It could be presented in a wedding invitation styled card with bullet points that highlight your venue's amenities.
