Company Name For A New Construction/remodel Comp

We are putting together a new construction business. It will consist of residential and commercial construction. Given the current decrease in construction in our area we would also like to highlight our availablity for remodel and repair jobs. We keep playing with ideas but never come up with anything that excites us. I came across this site and thought I would give it a try.

    I'd suggest keeping your name focused on construction, and let your tagline speak about the other services you might offer. For example:

    Ohio Built Strong:
    Residential, Commercial, Repairs, and Remodels

    I agree with Jay about the name focus. Also, if there is a uniqueness to your construction company that sets you apart, for instance, you focus on green building, that is something to keep in mind. if you are high end, your name could reflect that.

    Many construction companies use a personal name- Johnson Bros. Construction, Danville Construction, etc. Good idea? Not sure. There can be drawbacks- if something goes wrong, your personal name could get a bad rep.
