Metaphor For Risk Needed

Posted by sb on 250 Points
New investment fund needs a way of communicating to its investors different degrees of risk/reward metaphorically.

One fund has the idea of Blue Green and Black Diamond: the greater the risk, the better the reward.

I need an idea of something very similar geared towards a high-net-worth audience.

Thanks!

Various ideas: mountain heights (higher = riskier), mountain climbing grades (class 1-6), whitewater rafting classes (I through VI), and jets (single engine, multi engine, jet, rocket-powered, super-sonic, etc.).

For the client who doesn't understand mountain climbing, this could be confusing. Same can be said for whitewater rafting where a majority of these folks are in the northeastern United States.

The jets is fine, but I'm looking for something stronger.
