Feedback On Names For A Home Renovation Company

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
My partner is looking for feedback on a name for his Home Renovation Company.

He was using D-Renos. However, we both feel that that name doesn't represent the high quality of his work.

Here are a few names that we're contemplating:
D. Construction Renovations
D.F.M. Construction
D. Construct Renovations
D.M. Construction

Any feedback or other suggestions would be great.
Thanks!

Why not simply "Tallahassee Home Renovation" (or whatever city/region/landmark anchors your company)?

If you have the word "renovation" in your name, why do you also need the word "construction"?

The D./D.F.M./etc. initials don't mean anything to your prospective customers. Why not pick a name that does?

    What makes his company special/unique?

    D. Construction or D. Construct was meant to be a play on words with deconstruct or deconstruction.

Maybe it's not that obvious though.

It probably isn't obvious enough (of course, it does depend on your intended target audience)

There are many examples of using this kind of short version slang, e.g.
d'you: The cool way of saying do you.
    Example: D'you think I'm funny?

You might then consider "d'construction or d'construct".

This approach doesn't seem to convey high quality to your market segment.

    Perhaps simply,

    D-Construction

IMO it sounds strong and it's concise.
