Question

Topic: Taglines/Names

Shutters, Shades, Blinds, Woven Woods..etc

I need a catchy tag-line for my business cards. I have a fairy as my logo for creating magic when I make your windows look gorgeous. I just cannot come up with something that is catchy and is all inclusive for using a verb, creating a vision and making a statement to remember.

Thanks

Not looking to please me at all...however from reading all about tag lines there should be 3 factors as I said before. That is what I am looking for. Thanks

Your customers don't care about your use of verbs, about your creation of a vision, or about your statement.

They care about getting their needs met and they care about their expectations being exceeded.

Tell people what you do, how you do it, and how they will feel
as a result of you having done what you do.

    Dear yma262626,

Unless (or until) you are the one doing the buying,
what you think, want, or need for your business cards
    is irrelevant.

What you are looking for is not the point. What you think people will remember and what people WILL remember are, and will always be, two different things. "Catchy" is not a selling strategy™

Your customers are not buying shutters, blinds, and shades, they're buying privacy, window beautification, serenity, ambience, and decor to make their rooms more pleasant spaces to live and work in.

On top of this, they're also buying a look that they can show off to other people, or that they can use to cement their own relationships.

You are not in the shutters, blinds, and shades business, you are in the attraction of new customers business.

This business is based on what your ideal customers are looking for, not based on what you're selling. The sooner you open up to this notion, the sooner your sales will go up. Good luck to you.

Thanks so much....I agree and do really well and have been in business for years. regardless of all of that...I am re-designing a new business card and just needed a good tag-line. I go to a lot of networking events and make great connections. Your wording is great and I might be able to get a good line now!
