Name/tagline For Online Blog/shop

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Blog: Will focus on my life, local topics, decor and my business.

Shop: I design personalized wall art, invites, shirts, gifts, stationery, photo cards. High end - but reasonably prices. My market is for babies, children, tweens, teens, women of all ages.

I have one domain purchased - but can buy another. If I get feedback to stick with my current name Jimi the Girl (as I am a girl named Jimi) then I need input on tag line.

If I go with something brand new - I need a name and tagline - shorter is better. I am open to a word create from other words or joining words..something not in the dictionary. Urban words are good. Logo will be used via Fonts more than an image.

Thanks in advance for any input. Jimi

If the goal of your website is ultimately to sell merchandise, then having a blog that focuses on your life & local topics will send the wrong message. Keep your website tailored for your prospective customers.

If you're wanting to create a brand around "Jimi The Girl", then you'll have to do a bit of educating. Why is Jimi? Why should I care? What is she selling? Why should I want it? Why should I trust her?

Your target market is too wide (women of all ages). Not everyone will like your style, pricing, positioning, value, images, etc. Focus on those that have already purchased from you or those that are truly likely to do so.

As for a tagline, why not: Personalized Artwork For Your Style?

    Great point about the blog.

Jimi the Girl - I agree it is too unclear.

So everyone I am looking for a new name and tag. Thanks
