New Tagline For Communications Consultant/speaker

Posted by babbsela on 250 Points
I'm working with a communications consultant who works with companies to help their employees communicate better with each other, clients, and prospects. He also helps people who want to improve their communication skills to become more persuasive in public speaking and writing. He's expanding his focus, and wants to change his tagline from "Making your business more persuasive" to something new.

His bullet points:
Clarify your strategy
Identify your target markets
Improve your ability to innovate
Communicate your messages more clearly

A quote of his: "Change is necessary - innovate for a better future and a better organization" doesn't really grab me as a tagline, since it doesn't mention improved communication, which is at the core of everything he does.

I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks!

Thanks for the answers so far. Good stuff!

To clarify, I'm looking for something that is more aligned with the quote of his that I posted, and/or pulls from the bullet points.

(This may be tougher than I thought!)

    "Communicating your compelling story"

What's the name of the company? Does it help to convey the core positioning message, or does the tagline have to do it all?

Hi mgoodman - The company name is "TW Communications", so the word "communications" doesn't have to be in the tagline. The tagline needs to be the positioning message. (Does that answer your question?)

    Perfecting your compelling story

I assume that TW is the person's initials. If not, the name could use some help. TW doesn't say much about what the benefit is, who the target audience is or what the company does. It's kind of a waste of good real estate for communicating a compelling story in the name.

A better name, for example, might be "Compelling Communications." Then you might not need a tagline, or you could use the tagline to extend the benefit -- like "To make sure your story gets through" (or another end-benefit).

    Innovating your message for results.

    Make your message count.

    Creating innovative messages.

Speak to your audience. Innovate your message.

    Communicate to improve.

    Innovate. Communicate. Improve.

I like that one. I try to avoid the old 3 solid words tagline if I can usually, but it kind of works here...

I'm sure you'll figure out a great one!

Mgoodman, yes that's his initials. The business name is actually "his name" = Commuications. Just didn't want it to come up in a search. He isn't open to changing the name of the business. Thanks for the feedback, though!
