Two Old Markets And One New Business

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am starting up a business in the UK which mixes Real Estate and Kitchen modelling. It allows the house vendor to market with quality CAD photos of a choice of Brand new Kitchens that a buyer can choose OR we allow a buyer to choose a kitchen from our range and then negotiate with the house seller to have the Kitchen included in the purchase price.

I nee a House seller tagline or a house buyer tagline which summarises the fact that we can include a brand new kitchen in the sale

What's the purpose of the tagline? Why not just offer the product and see if anyone is intrigued? Are you convinced that the "brand new kitchen" approach will generate new customers (and commissions) for the real estate end of the business?

My instincts tell me that remodeling the kitchen up-front will sell a home faster/easier than showing a picture of how nice a new kitchen would look. But maybe that's just me. You need to test the concept with YOUR target audience before you get carried away with the idea.

Hi mgoodman, You are correct that a kitchen which already is up to date and appealing would prompt a buyer to view but the Kitchen Included idea is to allow any buyer to create their own brand new kitchen and have it installed before they move in.

You are right about concept testing. I was National Sales Director for a start up that offered whole house remodelling to potential buyers but the firm liquidated due to an inability to deliver great service in all aspects of the house remodel. They had over 300 customers and a £500k pipeline when they folded. I think they kitchen is the heart of a house and improving the impact and appeal at the online marketing stage will pay dividends to house selllers.

    Thanks for your comments 8-)
