Tagline For Marketing Campaign (wedding Industry)

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
We run a small wedding hire and set-up business and we are looking at running a campaign directed to other wedding industry professionals such as venues and photographers to reach out in the hopes of building a working relationship with them.

We are looking at sending out a small favor-type box of chocolate hearts with a catchy but not-too cheesy slogan to refer to us wanting to build that working relationship (have seen some people do this with cake e.g "We want a piece of your cake, here's a piece of ours")

We have toyed with something like "We put our hearts into weddings, and we would love to share that with you". Think it's rather long and not so 'catchy' so any ideas would truly be appreciated.

    You may consider:

    1. We need you to piece hearts together.
    2. What about partnering up to for sweet I-do’s?

    Hope those help.

-We put our heart in our weddings. But we need more love for the joyous day.

-Two hearts are better than one.

-Help us melt the hearts of our brides and grooms.

Why should someone want to hire you (instead of your competition)? What's the clear benefit to working with you? How can you prove it?

    Thanks for your suggestions.

In terms of why etc this is all covered in a promotional brochure that goes with the package. We are looking for just a short but sweet sligan or tag line to go on the box.

I think what Jay Hamilton-Roth was referring to incorporating all of what you do into the mix. You were trying to create a slogan around a box of hearts and not your service. Trust us; if there is no reason to use your service over another, a box of chocolate won’t matter. Please always consider this in marketing your business.

For this reason I have incorporated what you do into your favor selection. How about….

    Good Luck,

Thank you all for your comments. This is a sideline business of mine - in my day job I am a marketing manager for a foodstuffs firm who distribute to major supermarkets. Marketing campaigns are not new to me - here I was simply asking for a tagline because everything else was sorted and in all honestly this little tagline is minor (but still important) in the scheme of things. I feel asking this question has led some to instead making condescending comments rather than helpful ones, assuming the poster knows nothing about marketing. I realize I didn't give my background or experience but considering all I was asking for was a tagline I felt that was unnecessary.

We are sending a box of chocolate hearts because we sell these (as favors) as part of the business. In the wedding industry in our region this is becoming a common thing to do when sending information out to others. We just didn't want to send out a box with nothing on it, and wanted to tie it into the campaign.

Thank you for the suggestions, they are very helpful.

I am a wedding photographer myself (26 years in the business) Not saying these are great (as I am creative in images not words myself) but maybe it will give some base to a more creative writer.
I do love your idea and would like to hear what way you ended up going

We put our Heart and Soul into every relationship (image or event)

We'd (Heart symbol or image) to work with you more

We put our heart into developing your image

    Working together...What's not to Love?
