New Green Living Retail Store, Need Tagline Help!

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Trying to come up with a tag line for a green living retail store called generation green. I want it to be memorable and something that provokes emotion, connection to the fact that we each need to make changes now for a further. We want to be know as the source for green living made easy but we also will carry new, healthy food products that are either organic, gluten free, etc so want the tag line to reflect.
Not too hard eh?

I understand that your point of difference is GREEN, but don't you think you need to let people know what you do/sell and assure them that it will satisfy an important need they have -- and THEN reassure them that it's green/planet-friendly too?

If I don't need whatever it is you sell, would I buy it just because it's ecologically safe?

Thank you mgoodman for your response. I agree and that is what I was hoping to do with a tagline.
What about "alternatives you can trust"

Alternatives to WHAT? Is this a food store, or a book store, or a furniture store, or a clothing store, or an alternative-energy store, or a toy store, or something else altogether?

Who is your primary target audience, and what benefit do you provide for them (other than giving them permission to feel responsible ecologically)?

Alternatives for healthy living. This store offers everything from cleaning products to bamboo bedding to healthy food products.
Does "Natural Alternatives for Healthy Living" sound better?

How will your store be different from Whole Foods or Gaiam? Are people in your community searching for greener options and not finding it, or will you be attempting to both educate them and convince them that your alternatives are a better value? Where will you be located? Who's your target market?

    Hi Jay...
My store will be different because it will have a broad range of products were Gaiam is known more I believe for yoga and such and whole foods for primarily food products. As a community we are needing a place that will not only offer "green" alternatives but also educate on the reason why these alternatives are better overall.
We will be located in a prominent farmers type market that is a local and tourist favourite. We will offer workshops, food demos as well as an eco refill station for consumers to return to refill their bottles of home cleaning products. Our target market is basically anyone that is interested in living a healthier lifestyle as well as those concerned about the environment but mainly women 20+ as they are the primary shoppers in households.
