Know-How Exchange : Taglines/Names

Hi All,

We require a creative name and tagline to launch our new Not for Profit foundation which will provide socially inclusive theater, music and dance programs to those who are disadvantaged by circumstances, in the justice system and or have limited opportunities to participate in arts programs. Participants will have the opportunity to work with top artists and trained facilitators to devise, write, rehearse, produce and ultimately perform in their local communities. The programs will be run in major cities and remote communities in Australia. As a foundation we are working with the creators of the International Village Concept who have seen first hand the incredible difference a program like this can make, having worked with diverse groups ranging from the severely disabled through to " Lifers" in Prison and most everything in between. A sense of belonging, increased self esteem, improved communications are just some of the outcomes that can be expected.
Names and words that have been suggested to date are:-

Turning Circle
Changing Tunes
Bridge
Soul
Drum

However am not feeling overly inspired by anything on the list at present.

The International Village concept is the idea of creating ground breaking Socially Inclusive Musical Theatre, with communities that may not otherwise have access to these opportunities, it has been created and delivered by internationally renowned artists Warren Wills and Yamin Choudury.
Socially Inclusive Musical Theatre is aimed towards providing extraordinary opportunities to anybody who wants to participate, with an additional focus on involving those from hard to reach communities, who otherwise may not have access to the Performing Arts. It is based around the idea that inclusivity means giving all people, regardless of background, the opportunity to take part, using Performing Arts as a device to inform and engage.
The two-week intensive program tasks young people with creating a brand new piece of Musical Theatre, the young performers work closely with Warren Wills, Yamin Choudury and local artists & practitioners to write, rehearse and perform. Warren and Yamin aim to encourage participation from as diverse a range of communities as possible, the intention being not just to build towards a final performance, but to use the process of devising and rehearsal to actively engage community involvement, establish new relationships and enable young people to create something new and exciting in their own words.
