It would help us to know the name of your baby sign language company, where you are located, your target market (price of your product/service), just your basic faq info.

    Thanks, Steve

    Sara,

I see from your website, you have claimed a market segment positioning of “world’s leading children’s sign language program”.

This is a strong positioning claim and could be the basis for a strong tagline. However it must be believable and be experienced by your customers in order for Weehands branding to take place. In a google search using a keyword phrase “sign language for infants” many of your competitors show up in the early results, but “Weehands” does not. This search result does not match your “world’s leading ..” positioning claim. I see you have not made your site seo friendly. Your title tag - <title>WeeHands</title> - only states your name without any keyword phrases, which accounts for your no show in search results.

I suggest your step back from a focus on getting a tagline and re-focus on solidifying a strategic positioning that you can truly own, that your customers will believe and confirm. Talk with customers, read your competitors sites for positioning claims and keyword phrases. Take it all in, think about putting your best foot forward relative to what’s already out there. Then write it down, as a positioning statement or creative brief, before making changes to your site and tagline.

    hope this helps,

    Steve
