Need A Health Product Name

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
We need a name for our new product which is a colostrum and milk powder mix in a can. This is made up into a shake by adding water or juice. The name needs to suggest that this is a colostrum based product. The can is 450 grams or 16 ounces. (not fluid ounces!)
Colostrum is the first milk from the cow after the birth of a calf. It is high in antibodies and therefore boosts the immune system.
It is good for everyone over the age of 5. Our markets are mainly in Asia but they like a western "feel" to the design, not the cartoony look prevalent in their countries.

    Hi Cricksart
Thank you for your contribution. Colostrum Plus is already out in the market place unfortunately! Coloctose I like. I may need to relax the the need to have the suggestion of colostrum in the name.
Let's see what others may come up with. Thanks again.

How much colostrum is in your product? The reason I ask is a product that's marketed as colostrum I'd expect to be 100% colostrum, and not some small % colostrum with the rest milk. Also - by heating the colostrum to remove the water, haven't you killed the beneficial bacteria that's in the mother's milk?

100% colostrum is very expensive. It would be hard to sell. A lot of products say they are 100% colostrum but are not. Ours is 20% colostrum plus milk powder with added vitamins, amino acids and minerals. We don't kill the beneficial bacteria because our process protects the level of necessary beneficial ingredients required.

We have now settled on a name and would like to thank you for your input.

Good luck with it. and now you can get creative if you like. Trying mixing letters and create your own original name/work. How about Milactose? Just an idea...
