Tag Line For A Retail Store

Hi all,<br />I am soon launching my first retail store of home furnishings in Costa Rica, central America.<br />In the past I have been designing and supplying to most of the top top end brands.<br />My partner is also a top interior designer and architect.<br />So this store is a top end store and our main focus is custom design for home & hospitality with less inventory but more samples for reference.<br />Although the local language is Spanish (I am an Indian- moved here 2 years ago) but English is becoming more common between the high end clients because of their travel or because of costa rica being a travel destination for States.<br />My company name is good world company but we use GWC with www.goodworldcompany.com,<br />Now I need a tag line for the advertisement - signage- media- brochures- web etc. <br />So far I have thought of <br />"home & hospitality- custom design"<br />Please comment.<br />

    The words "custom design" are obviously important in your tagline because the name doesn't tell what you do. And it makes good sense to call out your target audience -- home owners and hospitality managers -- for the same reason.

    What you are missing is the "home furnishings" part. (How do they know you are not building architects?)

    It would also be great if there's a way to insert some reference to the emotional payoff for your target audience -- like "convey your exceptional sense of style."

    The problem is that's a lot to expect from a tagline that isn't getting any help from the name of the business. Is the business name set in stone?

    mgoodman makes some excellent points, including your existing name really isn't helping to define what you provide and for whom. If you absolutely cannot change the name, maybe something like this will work -

    Good World Company
    Stylish Living Through Design Build Solutions

    note: "Design Build" is a term of art for professional designers who also fabricate/build the designs they create.

    Expert advices indeed,
    I have been doing business under this name and have logo made in form of stickers/ steel/ brochure etc. already- so to change the name is something- I cant do.
    I do support a local kindergarten for kids of single & young mothers and trying to make this world good (better).

    maybe something like -

    "Interior Design Build Solutions - Residential & Hospitality"

    It appears to me that a significant percentage of services (and revenue) are coming from architectural planning, interior design, contracting and construction management. However, in marketing just your furniture creations through retail, you will probably want to focus a tagline just for those targets.
