Tagline For Cakes Make Me

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am brainstorming on a perfect fit tagline for my small homemade cakes, cookies and other baked creation's business. I decided the name to be CAKES MAKE ME, as this is my passion, my dream, and i feel my work in my cake studio defines my creativity and in-turn defines me. I am struggling to get and sweet, small, creative, designer, exquisite, professional tagline. Please help.

To start with, while you may like your name, the name won't likely connect with your customers. The reason is people are looking to buy your products, but don't (yet) know who you are (and may not care). If you're open to changing your name, I'd suggest starting by focusing on who specifically you're trying to attract (are you selling products in your bakery, at a farmers market stand, by word of mouth, or for catered events), where you're located, and what makes your cakes better/different from other sweet choices in your neighborhood.

My suggestion: Rethink the name. The name should communicate, or set the tone for, the benefit your target audience can expect.

"Cakes Make Me" sounds like a personal introspective statement. Only you care what "makes you." Other people want to celebrate an occasion, enjoy a sweet treat, or show some love to family and friends. They don't care what "makes you."
