Need Golf Theme Tagline For Printing Company Banne

Posted by pia on 50 Points
Client of mine is doing a bench ad on a golf course and needs a catchy slogan relating to golf. They provide printing and SWAG giveaways.
Her company is Lancer Ltd(www.lancerltd.com) but her FB page says what she does better:
https://www.facebook.com/wecaninkit
Her company tagline is: If you can think it, we can ink it.
Any ideas for this golf banner ad would be appreciated. Thanks!

The ad does not need to be catchy, it simply needs to be relevant.

However, what proof does this client have that THIS ad in THIS location will work?

If I'm a golfer and I'm on a golf course I'm not interested in ads, I'm interested in playing golf.

Similarly, your client's use of TWO domain names creates confusion. Confused ad readers often choose to take no action, regardless of the catchy nature of the headline.

And this client of yours? How are you serving them? Are you being paid to create marketing material for them?

Gary, thanks for your response. I posted both links to give you an idea of what company client reps for but her independent marketing is more on Facebook. Both URLS will not go on the banner. Here's a peek at what we have thus far.

A lot of the golfers in this area are small business owners and are looking for banners, promo products and printing for their businesses so it's appropriate for this venue.
Most of the promo pieces she does will have a catchy slogan so she thought it appropriate to use one here. Hope that sheds more light on what we're doing.

For the Facebook banner I recommend the text be moved and that the images of the things that have been printed be made bigger. WAY too much visual real estate is given over to the background image of ink spatters and the Pantone book.

At the moment it's nigh on impossible to see what's being printed on in the smaller images because the headlines obscure the images and because the images are too small.

Similarly, the image with the headline "Branded apparel" shows three heads. If your client is printing t-shirts, let's have her showing examples of the shirts, not three heads.

You mentioned that "Most of the promo pieces she does will have a catchy slogan so she thought it appropriate to use one here."

    Most?

If everyone else jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge, would your client follow them?

As for a lot of the small business owners in your area being golfers, OK.

However, a golfing theme on a printed piece that's mailed to these people at their place of business and that speaks directly to them about their business needs and about their desired outcomes will probably have more of an effect than a bench ad aimed at a general group.

Phil, I like it! Let me know if you find additional inspiration. Would love to present her with three ideas.
Gary, the bench sign has already been purchased and designed. Nothing we can do at this point. She's just asked me to help her find the right headline. I get your points though. Thanks!

Along the same lines as Phil...

    Think it..
    Ink it...
    Sink it...

    or

    Lancer Ltd.

    You think it.
    We ink it.
    You sink it.

    Hope they help.
