Know-How Exchange : Taglines/Names

Trying to name a company is probably one of the hardest jobs that any business owner faces.

Where are you located? Are you in the USA or abroad?

You might try adding your first and last name to the name of your company. Where I used to live there were three companies with the same name. The first was called McClure Company, the next was H.B. McClure, and the third was David F. McClure Company. The first one was owned by the son of the second company owner and the third was unrelated.

If you can't use Royal Flush, you might be able to put "Last Name's Royal Flush Plumbing" or some variation.

You could also go with Master Flush. or something clever like Environmental Plumbing or Water Works, or something along those lines. It really has to appeal to you and resonate with your customers.

Why not pick a name that's meaningful to your region and your target audience? For example, Best Bakersfield Plumber? That's the name that people are likely to be searching for you online and through local printed listings?

Consider using first and last name i.e. Roy Tank Plumbing or Roy T's Plumbing Business. People still like to know that they are dealing with "the one in charge."

Let's say your name is Murphy and you live in Sacramento, and you think your best quality is that you're speedy. If you're Murphy's Plumbing, then I think your tag line would be "Speedy service in Sacramento". Since the most common way someone is going to search for a plumber on line is going to be the name of your city or area, and maybe a descriptor, this will help ensure your company is toward the top of the list on a search.

Flushing Clean sounds way awesome hahaha. You can also go with Perfect Flush.
