Ox Cart Days Festival Tagline

I am looking for some ideas for a catchy tagline to put on large festival banners that will be hung at two locations in our community prior to the event. This will be to catch the large amounts of traffic that come through each day.

The festival has always been known as Ox Cart Days. We are a small community of around 8,000 and have a very small town feel. We would like the tagline to reiterate this. Thank you for any suggestions!

    What is the event about, for, themed on, derived from, based around? It has a history? A common string? What it is? Give us something to go on: you have local knowledge, we do not.

    And a catchy name thou shalt not seek.

    You need something that speaks to people's emotions and feelings about the event—something that's relevant to the conversations people are already having in their heads.

    Relevance connects to these thoughts ... catchy, less so.

    Thank you for your response Gary. I should have provided the history of this festival and definitely agree that it should be more about relevance and heart, not so much being catchy.

    The festival is derived from our towns history of the Pembina Trail, the Red River Valley's first source of commercial transportation for nearly 40 years. Furs and supplies were loaded onto the carts that were unique to this area and traveled the trail from Pembina to St. Paul which opened up the Red River Valley to many people and exposed its rich agricultural soil.

    And that is why our town exists, because of our agriculture, our people, our farmers, the hard workers, the local business people, and our closeness together.

    We also strive to bring other communities to ours to experience this slower pace of life. The simple life. And we want to be able to provide something for everyone from the runners of the 10K, to the Miss Crookston pageant, and the classic car show.

    Ox Cart Days Festival - A little something for everyone.
