Im guessing that the name Ideally needs to exude expertise, reliability, innovation, environmental credentials and end user control/cost saving - which might result in something very contrived and/or dull -so, aiming for something more useable:

    - Professional power management (ppm)
    - power control systems (pcs)
    - light and power essentials (lpe)

    Or with some location rationale

    - Garden State electrical systems
    - 732 power and light
    - Ocean power design

    Or go for something emotional/fun

    - Sparx
    - Htz
    - flat blade

Feel free to play around with these ideas.

Thanks mark. The names are def something to think about. How about putting my last name with one of the names? and what would be a good professional tagline for any name? Thanks

Why not simply, "Lakewood Electrical Contractors"? It'll help your search engine results, and clearly articulates who you serve and what you offer.

As for including your name, don't bother, unless you're already well-known in the community. It's vanity for you, and doesn't add any value to your name for prospective customers.

I am quite known in our community. As far as search engine goes, i am not sure that in this line of work customers will be searching online for a contractor... i think the residential customers will know me by name and the bigger jobs/commercial is me- being a go-getter and bidding on jobs... hmmm most of the companys here either have a name associating with lakewood... or their own name... But if i did use my name i would still like it to be professional. Can i email you my name ? thanks so much
