Newsletter Title - Please Help!

Posted by lisapollard on 250 Points
Hi,

I'm looking to resurrect a monthly newsletter for my department that includes the following:

1. What major projects we worked on last month.
2. Any major accomplishments in the past month.
3. Important changes/announcements.
4. Welcome new people to the team (we've been hiring fast and furious so we have new people that start monthly).
5. Get to know one team member (since there are so many new people on the team I figured this might be a fun little piece).
6. That month's anniversaries and birthdays.

I work for the IT department in a Title Company. The business we work for claims that we're a technology company that just happens to do title work, as they rely on us heavily for our innovation and creation of things.

Each team in the company has a name and our is called See IT. Our main thing that we work on is a software program we developed called ATLAS. Oh and I should also mention that we dubbed our area AREA 51.

The company prides itself on it's creative culture, fun atmosphere, and it's tagline is "Engineered to AMAZE".

Any thoughts on what I could call the monthly newsletter? Any help would be appreciated! I was hoping to come up with something fun, as See IT Monthly Newsletter is just plain boring and not our style. Sadly, I'm really awful with names so I could use the help!

Thanks!

How about "See IT Do IT"?

Thank you Jay, but the more I think about it I kind of want to play on the whole Area 51 thing. It'll make for fun names for the different features like Secret Agent Profile and such.

(Aside: One other thought for you about the content of the newsletter. If it's simply a broadcast of people/achievements, it's likely to be quickly ignored by those outside your team. Give people a reason to "need" to read the newsletter - whether that be a monthly contest, some vital/timely tips that'll save them time/money, or even a quiz.)
