Tagline For Gardening Business

Posted by lisa_seven on 250 Points

I recently started my own Gardening and Groundskeeping business. I do have a name and it is De-Vine Solutions LLC. I am having a hard time coming up with a description to add underneath my logo.
I want to target homeowners who have existing overgrown landscaping/gardens that need to be renewed, re-designed and made beautiful again. My passion is providing a service for older women who just can't work in their yards anymore, and people too busy to do it themselves. (Preferably staying clear of big "landscape" jobs, though I won't turn them down!) I have done some of what I call "Event-Scaping" but its not my primary focus! I also try and use what my clients have on hand in way of "Up-cycling" existing materials, and outdoor decor. I power wash, weed eat and make the entire outdoor area new again!

Several ideas I have had, but just cant wrap my head around are:" Landscape & Garden Renewal", "Tangle Free Flower Beds" "Gardening Care, Design and Maintenance" " Outdoor Renewal"

I am stumped, and my brain is locked! Any help would be greatly appreciated, and of course constructive criticism is welcomed.

Where are you located? How will your target audience find out about you?

When you say you "just can't wrap [your] head around" those taglines, what about them gives you pause or causes discomfort? The first one, "Landscape & Garden Renewal" seems to communicate what you do. What's missing?

The key to creating a great tagline is first understanding all you can about your target audience and how they express their needs; and second reflecting that you "scratch their itch" better than anyone else.

So how do you deliver the benefit in a way that's different from, and better than, your competitors? Why should someone hire YOU instead of one of the other dozen landscapers who also want their business?

I guess I might be looking into it too much, and over thinking it. You are right that "Landscape & Garden Maintenance" does describe what I do, and keeps it simple!

I might be trying to be too creative, but I just want something a little more feminine and unique without using "landscape" in my description.

I will take your advice to do a little more research to better understand my audience, how I will reach them, and what they are wanting.
    Thank You!

    How about ...

Renew your landscaping with a De-Vine intervention!

Alternatives for the word "Renew" - Refresh, Rejuvenate, Revive, Regenerate

Alternatives for the word "landscaping" - garden, yard, outdoor space, scenery

    OR

Let De-Vine be your inspiration for a new yard

    OR

To neglect your yard is human, to renew it is De-Vine

In both examples above, alternative words could be used for the word "yard"

    Good Luck!
