Tagline For Women's Centre

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I work at a large charity and we offer a range of services to women (only) that help her get a job. The unique aspect of our work is that we don't just help women to do a job search or write a resume. Our programs include building confidence, skills training, English language classes for new comers, trade certification with a local college (so women can get into non traditional jobs) and counselling. So, my challenge is to come up with a tagline for a big subway ad that somehow gets that across. Also, our services are by and large free, which is an important part of the message. THanks in advance for any suggestions. I'm stuck.

What's the name of the organization?
If the services are mostly free, how does the charity get its funding?
Who specifically are your ideal clients - age, background, etc.?
Is the point of the ad to get more clients, or bring more awareness to your organization, or get more donations?

The agency is funded by the Canadian government and our loyal donors. Our ideal clients are women who need help getting into the workforce. Not women who are in a highly professional career and want a new job. We cater to women who are living in poverty, women who have been abused, women who don't have opportunities - in other words vulnerable women. We want to get more women to use our services. Although the services are free, we find that many people don't even know we have that to offer. Our funding is based on numbers, i.e. number of women served - so we need to get more women in the door. Thanks.

What's the name of the agency (since you'll want a tagline that both reinforces its name & your unique benefit)?

How many women have gone through your training? How many have gotten jobs? For example, you could say "Over 100,000 women now employed" or "Over 10,000 women trained".

Some other ideas to play with:
Unemployed? We'll get you trained for FREE.
