Need Slogan For Furniture Store

Posted by naldnaldb on 250 Points
I'm currently starting up a furniture store named "Home and Castle Furniture" and would like an original slogan to go with it. We sell transitional and contemporary furniture along with artwork and lighting. We focus on style and quality while keeping our prices low. We also operate out of an industrial area of town, keeping our overhead low.

I don't get the name -- "Home and Castle Furniture." How did you pick that name for a business that sells transitional and contemporary furniture, artwork and lighting?

Even if your last names are Home and Castle, those words have functional meanings and would position the business as being old-style and perhaps pricey. (Are there any new castles around?) And "Furniture" certainly doesn't cover artwork or lighting, does it?

The reason I go to the name so quickly is that a slogan (or tagline) will need to explain the misleading name AND offer some clue as to what you do/sell ... and won't be able to allude to the emotional benefit people should expect.

Do you have a marketing plan? Does it include any discussion of the name and why you would choose the one you did? Maybe there's a good explanation and I'm just missing it.

    Can you help?

If your name is already set in stone, you need to make the best of your situation. How about simply "Affordable Quality Furnishings"?

"Shop at Your Choice" I think this would be also the good slogan
