Catchy Clear Tag For Reversible Baby Rompers

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi there,

I'm starting a reversible baby clothing line and need a catchy tag line. The 'gimmick' of the line is that one side is pink and the other is blue, so it can be for boy or a girl.

The name of my company is Loopty Lu.

Would really appreciate any help! I'm stuck!

Thanks!!

So who is your target audience? Where? Why would someone need a garment that is suitable for a boy or a girl? Don't people buying baby clothes usually know the gender of the baby?

    Thanks for your question!

Target is couples who want the gender to be a surprise.

Specifically will be marketed as a shower gift, which would mean purchaser is friends/relatives of an expecting mom.

Ultimately target is women around age of 30.

Also, in case it helps, my line is very classic and preppy not trendy.

    Thanks again!

I forgot to answer 'where'. Currently in Atlanta, GA, with hopes to reach entire US market. Made in the US. Sold online. Would be something found in an upscale baby boutique not a Babies R Us.

    Thanks!

More questions: How will people find out about your business? Do you have a marketing plan -- even rough?

Current marketing strategy is mainly focused on social media.

social media is not a strategy.

strategic content and messaging can be delivered via social media websites such as facebook, but developing the right strategy aimed at your target audience is the key to success. It takes a good deal of time and effort to discover what will work best in your unique situation. You might want to work with a marketing pro to help achieve your goals in developing a winning strategy.

The question how will people find out about the biz, main avenue will be social media.

Strategy will be niche marketing/micro marketing.

Thx Jay that is exactly the response I was hoping for!

I like the rhyming last one but I'm not sure it's clear enough what the product is.

Niche marketing and micro marketing are not strategies either. They are classifications of market segmenting. Your core strategy (or positioning strategy) will be spelled out in your marketing plan, which is either in your head or in writing.

If it's in your head, this would be a good time to reduce it to writing. You will need more than a brand name you like to be successful.
