This retail store Will cater mainly to females ranging from the ages 21 to 40.The store hopes to sell items ranging from accessories to personal care to home ware, baby & kids items, gadgets & devices etc. It will be positioned as a unique yet simple retail store offering products that is not available in the near vicinity ,at an affordable price.

I'm a working mum ,but love spending time with my family & decorating my home whilst all of that i also love to look good & pamper my self once in a while too. I consider my self quite tech savvy & hence loves gadgets & devices too. My retail store will depict this. this will be pushed mainly online & need to grab the attention of the audience at the first instance the name while been techy need to sound warm too.

Is your store online or bricks-and-mortar? If it's online, then your clients can live anywhere in the world (so relevance to the "near vicinity" would not be relevant). If it's brick-and-mortar, then including your region might be useful.

Are your products items that you've designed or products from other manufacturers (that can presumably be purchased from other online stores)?

Your business name is unlikely to "grab the attention of the audience at the first instance", but it would be a good idea to have the name reflect why your target market would want to shop at your store. Since you're planning to sell a wide variety of products for a wide age range (women in their 20s don't have the same styles/needs as those in their 30s) - how will your business/marketing plan help send the "right message" to them?

Following Jay's remarks...if you try to be everything to everybody...doubtful you will mean anything to anybody.

Your demographic profile is spot-on, but you may want to narrow your approach/assortment so your new name becomes more google/bing/yahoo recognizable.

You may want to listen in to the numerous 'mom blogs' and ascertain what language they are using in discussions, and from there evolving a store name relates to what they say - not what you (want) to say

    Guys..Thanks for all your comments...
You might be right about me been too broad in terms of the age & product range.
Hence i could narrow the age to 25 to 35,My whole idea is to make it an online retail store, which will provide a range of products .so this range will be narrowed to female specific products - Home ware, personal care & accessories as well as baby/kids.
These products will be imported from other countries i'm located in Sri lanka & my target audience is specifically from this region.
It is purely an online store , no bricks -n-mortar operation.
However the concept will be that ;although it will be available elsewhere my online store will be the place to buy it at a lower price than the traditional market. So it will be more on the price point.
I hope i was clear this time...

Sandrien (I hope that is your first name!)

    You say

"my online store will be the place to buy it at a lower price than the traditional market. So it will be more on the price point."

If that is your only advantage, beware! It is the easiest thing for your competition to undermine. Can everyone work for $2 a day? Because when you compete on price, that is what you will get.

You need to think in other directions. Take a look at my website for some ideas.

Yes it will be on price and also availability. What i mean on availability is most of the products i plan to sell will not be available at any traditional medium, hence it will be available at an affordable price .

Can i also have the link to your website

Then, why not simply "Sri Lanka Ladies' Store" or "Sri Lanka Ladies' Boutique" ?

    You should listen to them.
