Tagline Graphic Design

Posted by aprilbrooks.ea on 25 Points
I am in the start-up phase of a graphic design business called Creative Drop. I have the logo and working on the site but struggle with if I need a tagline.
Current ideas:
"One drop of creativity to help your business grow"

"One drop...BIG results"

"One Drop...Clear Vision...BIG RESULTS"

I can come up with creative logos, photos, banners but I lack creativity when it comes to writing. Any suggestions and advice is very much needed.

Is your name April Brooks? So much better than Creative Drop, as in we dropped the ball, we dropped the client, dropping anything doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Just my opinion.

Since "Creative Drop" doesn't say what you do (uniquely) or for who, don't make your tagline clever...make it clear. For example: "Graphic Design Fpr Small Business" or "Boise's Graphic Design Specialist".

    Hi
Before thinking about tags, names and slogans you better start considering the profile of your initial market. There are thousands of design agencies, and the first advice is considering an initial little niche.

As the business grow you will of course take more kinds of customers. But my advice is to throughtly think what kind of client is more likely to be your first client. This niche-focused approach will make your decisions easier. Your marketing actions will be more effective, and your brand will be able to present itself as The Specialist in something concrete.

If you decide to be the Design Partner of the local small businesses, just put your mind in their daily work. Being aware of their situation will make you a more trustable friend, and thus you´ll be in better position than more generalistic agencies to get the contract.

    Good luck!!
