firstly we don't have a great deal to go on. HR is fiercely competitive - and there are some really clever operations out there. This is from one of them and it might give you an idea of how clever they are:

"I get this warm fuzzy feeling when I think of my competitors hiring the wrong people on the basis of their fantastic CVs.

It's what I used to do after all!"

Will you be recruiting cooks, accountants and ships' officers on the basis of their CV - or are you going to be a little cannier and get someone who can really do the job?

In a fiercely competitive market you need substantially more than a snappy tagline. But in the mean time how about

"For the best salary in your next career"

(In other words I couldn't think of anything ... )

One other thought - everyone claims to be the best, strive the hardest. How many of them actually do? How is it that only the very highest quality operations tell you what they ... don't do, or can't do.

    Think about it.

    To your success

OK, let's start at the beginning. Who is your primary target audience? Where are they? How do they select a recruitment and HR consulting company? What are the criteria THEY use?

Then consider the process for compiling their "short list." How would they learn about the possibilities? How will they learn that you exist? And what would you want them to know about you that would set you apart from the others? Why should they pick you?

Finally, what do you want your tagline to communicate? How will you know if/when the right tagline shows up? What criteria will you use to pick a winner?

You might also give some thought to the reason you think a tagline is "required." If it's because you think your name doesn't communicate the right benefit, then maybe we should start with the name. If there's some other reason, we should probably know that too.

Dear Moriarty, Thank you for the response. I am targeting at technical, managerial and skilled professionals for taking up my services. The tagline should be appealing to both the client(employer) as well as the candidate(employment seeker). The services would be mostly for the gulf recruiters. My office will be located in India. Gradually I would be recruiting for Indian clients too. As of now, the initial recruitment will be for gulf employers from India. It starts from the initial 5 clients i have direct access. I want to build on from there.
    Let me answer mgoodman's questions
I would be catering services to Job seekers from Hospitality, Technical, Managerial and Health Care areas. who are from India. Initial market penetration is by advertising in major newspapers and internet marketing. Right candidates to the employer and maximum benefit to the candidate.Negotiate and bargain for the candidate, professional and prompt service to the client. This is what makes me stand apart.

The tagline I am looking must communicate a sense of reliability both for employer and candidate.

I hope this covers quite a few concerns I have received in the responses.

Looking ahead to still receive more responses.
