Help Give My Fashion Line A Chic, Catchy Name?

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hello I'm Sylvee. I am a student and also working on my fashion line. but i am so stuck on branding my fashion line. All ideas seem boring. Anyway, so far I have Vee Kandi (Vee from my name Sylvee and Kandi is Candy spelt differently) a friend suggested vee amore(i like it but it sounds more like a fragrance name, right?) Vee Chic, Vee Rogue. At this point you probably get the drill, I want the fashion line name to still link back to my name in any way possible hence the use of Vee. Any ideas?

    Sylvee

Firstly if you want to brand your fashion line, you will be spending a great deal of money for practically zero return. Most branding is an exercise in tax deduction, because it has little effect beyond that.

Focus on one specific group of people who really want what you do, and more, love it. What is more, they might just find your "boring" ideas really great. More importantly - much more - is the quality of your fashions and the quality of the attention you give to your clients. Transmit that on your website and your advertising - and the name is the least important part. Just calling yourself Sylvee. D. Candy, Fashion Designer (or whatever your full name is) will do as much in this department as any other. Boring, yes, effective, certainly. When it is backed up!

Because a great name can be let down by poor quality service.

My choice of name? "Kandi Chic" or you could be "The Edge by Sylvee" "Sylvee's Sharp Chic"

    Any good? M

Yes, I agree with everything you've stated. It makes so much sense. Thank you for the suggestions, I really like 'Kandi Chic', 'The Edge by Sylvee' and plain but simple 'Sylvee' too. That definitely helps alot :)

"Vee Vee by Sylvee" or more simply, just "Vee Vee" for short.
